It’s a long stage but all on flat terrain. At the beginning you cross the protected environment of the Saline di Cervia and then, in the countryside, you will arrive in Forlimpopoli to resume the first hills of the Apennine ridge. From the center of Cervia you enter the hinterland. Follow the entire canal port up to the SS 16 Adriatica. This takes you to the Cervia Saline Visitor Center. After crossing the first canal and skirting the first lifts, take the path up to Via Madonna della Neve. On country roads, apart from a short stretch on the Cervese provincial road, you arrive at Pisignano. Here you come across the Pieve di Santo Stefano, a church from the year 1000 and a historic point of reference for pilgrims. Once you arrive in La Cella, along the Savio river, you find yourself in Matellica. From here, after several country roads, crossing the Emiliano-Romagnolo Canal and the motorway you arrive at the center of Forlimpopoli. From Cervia it is 28.4 km.

NOTE ON THE CLOSURE OF THE SALINESIf the passage is closed, after the SS16, go past the Saline Visitor Center and go around it along the ancient Camillona Canal. Then you return to Via Madonna della Neve
